To live in India (since the last 6 years) has been the beginning of a new life for me. I always knew it was here in India that the Love which was merged deeply within my heart will be transformed into a Love in Action.
I humbly founded this project "Each One Takes Care of One" which is not a “New Idea”. Good ideas have always been there waiting for our stage of consciousness to be ready to receive them. For this project I have linked up several ideas such as sponsoring children, combining spiritual and social service, feeling that Time was no longer for divisions and fragmentation, and that, if we really have a sense of caring for others, it cannot remain limited to an intellectual awareness, or to charitable feelings, but it has to manifest in a practical form. Good feelings, awareness, compassion and an acute understanding of interdependence prepare us ultimately to ACT, because unless we bring good intentions into action … nothing will ever change!
The Power of One Is the Power to Do Something … Anything (www.OneEarth.com)
Thought we cannot care for the whole world in a direct way in the physical dimension we can start with ONE.
"Do not wait for leaders, do it alone, person to person. If I had not picked One, I would not have picked ten thousand"…Mother Teresa.
I do little things, every year i distribute blankets to people who sleep outside in the mountain cold, I offer tea and biscuits in the morning (called Indian tchai) to the villagers who sell their vegetables in the street and earn less than 10 $ a month, i share whatever people right in front of me need: smile, respect, love, natural medicines, lift in my car, shoes, biscuits, bags of food, water etc...and in return of such natural actions, i receive "millions" but not in the form of paper notes.
Whenever I am the witness of sorrow, suffering, misery, I wonder, if I feel touched but I do not have the courage to do something, to share, to care, where is the power of my consciousness? I believe that I can always do something, even if just sending a benevolent thought which could - why not - transform the Destiny of that person!
Starting to care for just One, gave me that Courage to care for every "each one" I meet. Though i started alone here, i never felt lonely but supported by many acting with the same spirit.
Today, on this blessed new morning, I feel a lot of Gratitude to the benevolence of Life which created a connection with Jim's Projects .
